The Obstruction in Ourselves

Take the example of Romeo and Juliette, for instance.  Not only did they each choose the obstruction of a romantic relationship – formidable as that is by itself – but they chose the relationship that presented the greatest obstacle to their own happiness.  Why?  For the same reason that Hillary fell in love with Everest.
